Headteachers

Headteachers are the leading professionals in the school, providing strong leadership to build upon in order to achieve raising standards in all aspects of the school life.

The key role that headteachers play is in engaging the development and delivery of government policies, raising, and maintaining levels of attainment in schools in order to meet the needs of every child.

ELC supports a variety of opportunities for head teachers.

Our range of Headteacher programmes are aimed at preparing you for the role of Headship as well as for those candidates already in Headship who wish to focus on continued school improvement. ELC can also provide flexible training for teams of school leaders who wish to improve their team effectiveness.

At ELC we have a range of facilitators who are dedicated to the programmes, with many coming from Headship backgrounds offering support throughout your learning.
