Developing the Capacity for Sustained Improvement

The Developing Capacity, Sustaining Improvement programme focuses on strategic thinking and capacity building for sustained improvement for leadership teams, either senior teams or senior teams plus key middle level leaders by:

  • creating space for strategic thinking.
  • understanding the key components of capacity building.
  • identifying a coherent approach to the next stage of the improvement journey.
  • planning for long term and sustained development.
  • addressing current issues within the context of each school’s unique context.
  • engaging with this programme over a period of 12 to 18 months, thereby securing greater impact.

    • The leadership teams will be able to take control of the agenda for change more confidently, be stronger in their relationships and plan to take action for the transformation of their schools.
