Teaching Assistants
The ELC supports opportunities for teaching assistants.
Teaching assistants provide support in school for fully qualified teachers, taking on non-teaching tasks. Experienced assistants, who have achieved Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status may also lead lessons under the supervision of qualified teachers.
