'Leading from the Middle' at ELC
The ELC, as provider, receives enrolment data from NCSL. Participants are then placed in teaching groups of approximately 24 middle leaders. Each teaching group is then allocated dates and venues for the training events. We endeavour to ensure that travel time to venues is under 45 minutes from school, although this obviously varies according to the number of teaching groups planned. The ELC sends information about venues and dates to participants and coaches - this information is also available online once the programme has started. During the programme, the leadership coach provides on-the-spot support, while facilitators, who deliver the face-to-face training, communicate with the coaches to support their work in school.
