Primary Deputy Head Induction Programme

Course Details

ELC's Primary Deputy Headteacher Induction is for deputy or assistant headteachers in their first or second year of senior leadership, working in the leadership team in a primary setting.

This course is for teachers who want to become effective school leaders, work with teams, evaluate how good their school is and improve on past performance. It will develop skills and capacity of recently appointed deputy and assistant headteachers, helping especially to distribute leadership and the responsibility for continuous school improvement.

This 3 day programme has been developed in collaboration with local authorities, responding to needs identified by schools. It has been created and refined by the Eastern Leadership Centre's course developement team and is in its third year of highly successful delivery.

  • What is the national agenda and what impact is it having on my school?
