Wider Workforce

The ELC supports opportunities for the Wider Workforce.

  • Achieving HLTA Status- Teaching assistants provide support in school for fully qualified teachers, taking on non-teaching tasks. Experienced assistants, who have achieved Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status may also lead lessons under the supervision of qualified teachers.

  • Certificate of School Administration (CSA)- This is a qualification that enables administrative staff in school to upgrade their administrative skills, develop a career in school administration and/or business management, develop personally and prepare for higher level courses, such as CSBM and DSBM.
