What ELC offers
the Eastern Leadership Centre (ELC) is a provider for a number of national training programmes on behalf of organisations such as the National College for School Leadership and the Training and Development Agency for Schools.
These programmes include:
- Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA);
- Leading from the Middle (LFTM);
- National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH);
- National Professional Qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership (NPQICL) ;
- Certificate in School Business Management (CSBM).
In addition, ELC works collaboratively with LAs to develop a leadership capability locally, and supports a range of innovative research and development projects. We are also developing business networks and sponsors to underpin and broaden the work of the Centre in leadership training and development.
ELC Training and Conference Centre
The Eastern Leadership Centre is based at a new site in the peaceful and picturesque village of Pampisford which is located on the southern outskirts of Cambridge. It is within easy reach of all major roads, being just 1.5 miles from the M11 and has excellent links to the A14, A11 and other main routes. The Centre will continue to have excellent training and meeting facilities, an attractive refreshment area and ample parking.
The professional ambience of the Centre makes it an ideal venue for a variety of training and meeting requirements.
